Mother's Day Nepal or Mata Tirtha Aunshi (मातातीर्थ औंशी)

It is said about Nepal that every other structure is a holy shrine every other day of festival. Mata Tirtha Aunshi (मातातीर्थ औंशी) falls in the month of Baishak (April). This festival falls in the time of dark moon's time, so it's called Mata Tirtha Aunshi. Mata means mother and Tirtha means pilgrimage, in this way it's called Mata Tirtha Aunshi. This festival is observed in the commemoration and respect of the mother. The festival is also known as ‘Aamako Mukh Herne Din’. The literally translation of 'Aamako Mukh Herne Din "the day to see the mother’s face”. A day to go for the pilgrimage of one’s mother. The festival of mother’s day as it is the day the children express their love and gratitude to their mothers. It is the day to make your mother feel important and loved. And other peoples who lost or passed away  their mother, they go to worship Mata Tirtha place which is located in Kathmandu.
